Introduction

In 1989, a team of young volunteers inspired by Gandhian values came together to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged children and women. Under the guidance of Harijan Sevak Sangh, Safai Vidyalaya and Environmental Sanitation Institute, Manav Sadhna was founded in USA and India.

From a quiet corner of the Gandhi Ashram, Manav Sadhna tries to make a difference. This non-stop seva yagna serves around 4,500 children and women through 38 projects across the slums of Ahmedabad.
